Tensions in New Caledonia are still simmering. French President Emmanuel Macron is there to try and find a political solution to the crisis that’s engulfed the territory in recent weeks. ‘The Pacific’ spoke to those on the ground grappling with the chaos and with some of the frustrated Kanak youth who’ve been out amidst the unrest.
