World In Shock As Russia & Turkey Ready To Send Troops Into Gaza To Stop Israel
Countries are aligning themselves with either Israel or Palestine as the Israel-Hamas conflict unfolds. The most recent development involves President Vladimir Putin of Russia and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Turkey joining alliances, further shaping the global stance on the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas. In recent news, Russia’s Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, has stated that his country is prepared to collaborate with Turkey to de-escalate and address the Gaza-Israel conflict. This announcement comes amid Israel’s continued airstrikes in Gaza. The conflict intensified following a surprise attack by Hamas on towns in southern Israel, resulting in the tragic loss of approximately 1,300 lives, the majority of whom were civilians. In response, Israel launched indiscriminate airstrikes targeting the besieged Gaza Strip. The severity of the situation has raised international concerns, leading Russia to offer cooperation with Turkey. The military strikes conducted by Israel have resulted in the tragic loss of 4,137 Palestinian lives, with a particularly distressing toll on children, as at least 1,524 young lives have been cut short. Additionally, over 13,000 individuals have sustained injuries in the conflict. The violence has extended beyond military targets, with hospitals, churches, and mosques becoming victims of the bombing, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the affected regions. Amid this dire situation, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, speaking at a press conference held in the North Korean capital Pyongyang, emphasised that Russia is actively maintaining constant communication with Turkey.
