Will Russia hold up its end of a partial ceasefire deal

The US has made separate agreements with Ukraine and Russia to ensure safe navigation in the Black Sea and to implement a ban on strikes against energy facilities. Moscow said its discussions with the US in Saudi Arabia focused mainly on a new ceasefire deal in the Black Sea – an important export route for Russia AND for Ukraine. Moscow said it required guarantees from Washington that Ukraine would respect a maritime ceasefire. Kyiv said it had agreed to a ceasefire at sea AND a halt on attacks on energy infrustructure.
