President Zelensky has said Ukraine is ready to launch its much anticipated counteroffensive.
Tanks, howitzers, guns, ammunition, even ships have been gifted from international supporters in recent months. The training has finished. The crews are ready.
So why hasn’t Ukraine launched its forces into battle? War is more than just an exercise of heavy metal on the battlefield. First and foremost it is a contest of minds, and that’s where Ukraine has been operating for months now.
