Gazprom slashed gas supplies to Germany
This week, Russian’s state energy supplier, Gazprom slashed gas supplies to Germany through the Nord Stream One pipeline – now flows have sunk to just 20 percent of capacity. That makes filling Germany’s reserves before the weather gets cold a challenge: and any further reductions could trigger emergency gas rationing. Will European countries have a summer of solidarity to stave off a bitter winter?
