In Ukraine –  11 months after Russia’s invasion – Ukrainian officials say over the past 24 hours their forces have repelled Russian attacks in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. In his nightly address President Zelensky called the situation along the frontline in Donbas “difficult and painful” – and acknowledged that nearly 9 million Ukrainians are without electricity.
