Niger Coup REJECTS France, Embraces Russia as ECOWAS Threatens WAR on West Africa

Strengthening ties with Russia and Wagner PMC

Niger’s coup on July 26th has left the country under threat of war from its former colonial master France and the ECOWAS states following Western dictates. As a result, Niger is strengthening ties with Russia and Wagner PMC to help defend the country and region from invasion.
