Proxima b, the nearest known alien planet, maybe even more Earth-like than previously thought. New observations suggest that the closest alien planet to our solar system is even more Earth-like than scientists previously thought. An international team of researchers discovered in a new study that the minimum possible mass for Proxima b, which is only 4.2 light-years from Earth, is only 17% more massive than our planet.
