Israel military launches major West Bank raids, killing at least 7 | DW News
At least 7 Palestinians have been killed in a coordinated series of raids and strikes carried out by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank, that’s according to the Red Crescent. The Israeli army says the operations, carried out in four cities, were designed to “thwart terrorism in Jenin and Tulkarem” in the northern West Bank. Israel’s military has freed a hostage who had been held in the Gaza Strip by Hamas since last October. Qaid Farhan Alkadi was found alone in a tunnel in southern Gaza. Hamas, considered a terrorist organization by several countries, is thought to be still holding around 110 hostages. About a third of them are believed to be dead. Alkadi is the first hostage to be rescued alive underground. He was one of some 250 people taken captive by Hamas during the October 7 attacks. #westbank #israel #gaza Credit to : DW News
