Could China’s Chang’e-6 Moon Mission have a Military Goal?

China has launched an unprecedented mission to the far side of the moon.
The unmanned Chang’e-6 probe lifted off from the southern island province of Hainan. It’s expected to return with in two months with around two kilos of lunar samples. The launch is the latest advance in China’s ambitious space exploration program, which now rivals that of the United States. China made history in 2019 when it became the first country to land a rover on the moon’s far side.
