Refuses’ To Meet German Vice Chancellor In Beijing Amid Trade War Tensions
German vice chancellor Robert Habeck faced ’embarrassment’ after arriving in Beijing, China, on a three-day visit on June 21. According to the German daily Die Welt, Habeck could not secure a meeting with Chinese Premier Li Qiang. Die Welt reported that German officials were informed that the appointment was “not possible in the morning before departure.” Watch
