The former US President’s book, Our Journey Together, includes pithy comments on world leaders and praised Mr Johnson as a ‘one of a kind’. In what appears to be a hand-written note, Trump says of Mr Johnson: ‘Boris is one of a kind and a fantastic leader of the United Kingdom.’ ‘He will go down as the best PM since Winston Churchill!’ It comes as Mr Johnson faces increasing pressure from within his own party over gatherings at Downing Street and his Jimmy Saville quip towards Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer at the House of Commons last week.
