The United States has called on Israel to immediately allow more aid into Gaza. Speaking at an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, US ambassador to the UN, said Israel must do more to address the “humanitarian crisis” in Gaza. This follows US threats to withdraw military aid if Israel does not improve the humanitarian conditions in Gaza.
