The US Department of Defense released a video of the incident, which showed the Chinese jet flying near and off the nose of the US plane. The US identified the aircraft as a Chinese-made J-11BSH, which appears to have a new, low-visibility paint scheme. The video also provides a close-up view of the armament of the J-11BSH.
